Here you can find short descriptions of each Khadi Hair Colour to help you choose the best shade for yourself. It is good to remember, that the final result of dyeing your hair with natural dyes always depends on the colour of your hair before starting the process.

Khadi Pure Henna Red

This is a herbal dye, which on fair hair leaves a reddish brown colour and on dark hair a fantastic mahogany shade. It can be used on grey hair.

Khadi Henna Amla & Jatropha

This herbal dye gives fair hair an intensive red colour and dark hair a mahogany shade. It can be used on grey hair.

Khadi Henna and Amla

This herbal hair dye gives your hair a beautiful auburn and coppery colour.  It can be used on grey hair.

Khadi Henna Light Brown

This natural herbal dye gives hair a light to medium bronze colour (it depends on how long you keep it on). It sometimes gives mahogany shades and covers grey hair very well, even when used only once.

Khadi Henna Natural Hazel

This natural herbal dye gives your hair a natural hazel dark brown colour without reddish shades. It can be used on grey hair and it covers them when used once only.

Khadi Henna Dark Brown

This natural herbal dye gives your hair a cold, dark, chocolate- brown colour. It can be used on grey hair but double dyeing may be necessary (check the article about dyeing blonde and grey hair).

Khadi Black

This natural herbal dye gives your hair a warm black colour. It can be used on grey hair but double dyeing may be necessary (check the article about dyeing blonde and grey hair).

Khadi Black Pure Indigo

This natural herbal hair dye gives your hair a natural deep black colour with bluish shades. (Indigo is a deep blue dye derived from a tropical plant Indigofera tinctoria L) Please be careful when putting the dye on chemically lightened or grey hair – do the test first. When you have blonde or grey hair, you will probably need to dye your hair with henna first and then use Pure Indigo to achieve a deep black colour.

Khadi Senna/Cassia Neutral

This is a perfect conditioner for your hair. It can be used on all types of hair and for all types of hair colours; because it does not dye your hair but only improves the colour and structure of the hairs. Senna also makes your hair glossy, strong and soft as silk; and conditions your scalp, too. Fair hair can get delicate golden shines from this dye.

Remember that if your hair was chemically lightened or vastly exposed to sun light, before dyeing it with Senna/Cassia, then the hair may change the colour slightly after the process of dyeing, but after a few washes the normal colour will come back.

Senna/Cassia is recommended to be used after having your hair dyed blonde to repair the hair damage, or between having your hair treated with natural henna or indigo (the best is to mix it with Khadi Amla powder).

You can mix Khadi Colours in different proportions, without any hard and fast rules and regulations. E.g. Senna/Cassia added to brown colours, make them brighter, etc. So feel free to go ahead and make your own, completely unique hair creations.
