body awareness

I wanted to create a forum to discuss body awareness and how once you have had a few massages you start to feel where your tension occurs and then you become aware of your muscle weak points and can then use this knowledge to strengthen and stretch your problem areas to keep yourself free from pain.
Anyone like to comment on their experience of this and how it has helped them?
