The General Characteristics of Pitta
Pitta people live very intense lives, fighting for goals and finding it very hard to surrender. They want to achieve things quickly and effectively, in which their punctuality, analytical mind and precise focus help them enormously. They hate wasting time and when things do not go according to plan, can burst out with anger. But the same fierce and proud warrior or an ambitious, charismatic leader, when balanced, is happy and satisfied inside and acts very friendly and affectionately towards friends and relatives.
Physically, Pitta persons are usually medium sized and built proportionally. Red haired and fair skinned people with freckles usually have a lot of Pitta (e.g. Pippi Longstockings). When balanced, they do not have problems with weight, because they easily put on weight, as well as lose it. They enjoy a perfect digestion and can eat quite a lot, choosing sweet and bitter tasting food, usually cold. What they really hate is when their meal must be postponed or even worse, skipped! Pitta also does not like hot and sunny weather, usually hiding in the shade and perspirating a lot. Even clothes a bit too warm drive them crazy.

Lead a moderate life style
Avoid all of the situations which trigger the ‘inner fire’ of Pitta
Avoid intense sun
Eat less spicy or hot meals, like Indian cuisine
Do not skip meals

Have their bedroom painted in blue (this color relaxes Pitta most)
